ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Priscilla Stanbury taught in the post-secondary education sector in London, England and Vancouver, British Columbia. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease Scleroderma in 1990. Her kidneys failed a year later. Following nine months of dialysis she received a kidney transplant that functioned well for over twenty-two years. Priscilla passed away on September 11, 2019.
