During a period of anxiety and grief following trials, transitions, and trauma, Janelle began to express herself. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Janelle Schmidt is a restorative yoga and meditation teacher and a practitioner of Shamanism, or Traditional Medicine Work. As the founder of Live Inspired, she leads others in contemplative, healing practices that connect them to the wildness of their true selves. When she’s not passionately playing with words or facilitating a healing ceremony, she’s breathing in the scent of trees after the rain or running among wildflowers.  Awaken the Wildness Within is her first book.
